I've begun a journey exploring fasting and building a community around it. This isn't a program, a diet, or medical advice, it's my real journey, shared as it happens. Read my story, then join along if fasting is something that speaks to you.

It started in February 2026 with simple curiosity. I decided to explore fasting and see what the practice could actually offer. In March I took on my first 72-hour fast, and I wasn't prepared. I got sick, and I learned the hard way that research matters.
So from March through June I shifted into research mode, digging into how to fast properly, what the different timing windows do, and what the real benefits are. In June I completed a 96-hour fast, and this time I felt prepared before, during, and after. The difference was real. Now I'm continuing to learn and building a community of people who want to explore fasting with support.
Decided to explore fasting.
Learned the hard way (wasn't prepared).
Timing, benefits, how to do it right.
Started weekly 36 hour fast practice.
Felt prepared. Made all the difference.
Learning together, supporting others.
Three things I believed before I started, reframed by actually doing it.
Hunger comes in waves, it doesn't build forever. What surprised me most was the mental clarity that kicks in once a wave passes.
This is about understanding your body and building resilience, not restriction. The mindset is completely different.
Anyone can explore fasting safely with preparation and doctor approval. This isn't exclusive, it's just deliberate.
Think of it as giving your body a break from digesting so it can focus on other important jobs. It's much more than just skipping meals.
Probably not. Hunger comes in waves, and many people are surprised that it often becomes easier after the first day.
Nope. People fast for mental clarity, metabolic health, improved discipline, longevity, and many other reasons. Weight loss is just one possible benefit.
Not everyone. Your age, health, medications, and medical history all matter. Fasting isn't one-size-fits-all, which is why learning before starting is so important.
Water is non-negotiable. Depending on your fasting approach, electrolytes, black coffee, or tea may also be included.
That depends entirely on your goals. For some, 16 hours is plenty. Others may work toward 24, 36, or even longer fasts, with proper preparation.
Jumping in without a plan. Preparation before the fast and knowing how to break it afterward can make all the difference.
Usually not the hunger. It's breaking habits. We often eat because we're bored, stressed, or because the clock says it's lunchtime.
Because fasting is easier when you're not figuring it out alone. We're learning together, sharing real experiences, asking questions, celebrating wins, and helping each other avoid the mistakes we've already made.
No. I'm simply someone documenting my own fasting journey, sharing what I've learned through experience and research, and building a community for others who want to learn alongside me. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any fasting program.
Still have questions? That's exactly why this community exists. Come learn with us, share your experiences, and discover what fasting can do, one fast at a time.
This page is the short version. In our fasting community you get my ongoing updates, group conversations, shared resources, and real people exploring the same questions.
I'm not a doctor or a fasting expert. I'm just sharing my journey and what I've learned along the way.
Always consult your physician before starting any fasting practice.
